Swede songwriter Jens Lekman has announced Life Will See You Now, his first new record since 2012’s I Know What Love Isn’t. It’s out February 17 via Secretly Canadian. The announcement is accompanied by lead single “What’s That Perfume That You Wear?,” which originally appeared on the 2014 WWJD mixtape.

Girls is taken from Lost Tapes’ forthcoming new album ‘Let’s get lost’, which will be released on 8th April 2016 via Mushroom Pillow.


DIIV – “Mire (Grant’s Song)”


Last night, DIIV premiered another new track from their forthcoming album Is the Is Are. Following “Dopamine” and “Bent (Roi’s Song)”, they shared “Mire (Grant’s Song)” on Mexico City’s Radio. Is the Is Are is out February 5 via Captured Tracks. Listen in here:


Lost Film – “Something’s missing”


Lost Film is the minimalist guitar pop project of Jimmy Hewitt based in Northampton, MA. Having formerly gone by the moniker of Orca Orca, Jimmy’s output of electronic-based pop was prolific. Now he’s back with Imago – an incredible collection of 10 songs recorded over a weekend in Boston, and incidentally, after 10+ years of song-writing and recording under countless monikers, it’s Jimmy’s first ever full-length release.Listen in here:

Summer Fiction – “Perfume Paper”

imagesIt’s been over 4 years since Ricchini’s self-titled debut as Summer Fiction was released to praise from New York Magazine, Vogue, NPR among others.  His new album, Himalaya (out 16th July)was mixed in Brooklyn by Grammy-winning engineer Geoff Sanoff and mastered by Joe Lambert (The National, Sharon Van Etten, Deerhunter, Panda Bear). Ducktails – “Headbanging in The Mirror”

Matt Mondanile, the Real Estate member who also performs under the name Ducktails, recently announced St. Catherine, his forthcoming album (it’s out July 24 via Domino). Today, he’s shared a video for the LP’s lead single, “Headbanging in the Mirror”. Directed by Rose Schlossberg (daughter of Caroline Kennedy, granddaughter of John F. Kennedy and Jackie Kennedy).
